Sabian night at NAMM

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's it! The biggest drag about NAMM is making those decisions. Driving distance usually sobers you up. Driving to Catalina's from Anaheim is over an hour, then there is standing in line. At the Spud, they usually don't take reservation except during NAMM--they did with Jazz Ministry at least. The Baked Potato and most of these "clubs" are VERY small places. I can call a lot of these places to see what's up if it will help some.

To answer your question, Palmerlouie, the Sabian night is free for everyone with a NAMM badge. Even though there will be a huge crowd, it's always a great hang. In the crowd and at the bar, you will come face to face with many known drummers.

And you know, getting a hotel in Anaheim is not a bad idea. At the NAMM show, you can pass four full days and only see a fraction of what's happening. My suggestion is , when you visit each drum, cymbal, stick, drumhead booth, just ask where the shows will be presented. You will probably be lucky and get passes for several shows.

Anybody out there know if Joey Heredia and Trio will be playing NAMM ? He usually is seen at the Sabian night.

Last year, saw the trio at the 40th anniversary LP night.
